Unity of London has a page devoted to Jane Drotar Information.  Jane gave a wonderful and inspiring talk today, Sunday Dec.21/97 at our church service.  At a later time we shall feature it on this website and we now have a booklet for those who wish to order it.  The booklet was also made in cameo [4 point typeface and 24 pages in length] and standard booklet size [12 point typeface and 24 pages in length].  Note that the cameo size is nice as a joke or a something that takes up little space; but which is read with a magnification device, be it glasses or something else.

We currently have her talk "Signs and Wonders" available for sale in these 2 sizes.  Contact the Webmaster for pricing.

Congratulations to JANE DROTAR for graduating as a licensed Unity Teacher, on becoming the regional representative for the Uniteens, and on becoming Unity of London's liaison with Hamilton.

Greetings from Our Spiritual Advisor! December is one of my favorite months of the year. I have always loved Christmas since I was a child. It is a magical time of loving, sharing, and giving. However, as an adult, it can become very stressful trying to balance home, family, career and all the various activities that seem to abound during the Christmas season. December Christmas Services With all the pressure and anxiety, it is easy to lose the real meaning amid a whirlwind of "credit card mania". This season, I invite you to join us at Unity of London for our December Christmas services. We will explore the metaphysics of the Christmas. story, how it relates to our own spiritual growth, how we can become awakened to the "birthing of the Christ" within each one of us. It’s a beautiful, exciting and inspiring story, and Pat and I are both eager to share it with you. December 15th will be our Candlelighting Service. Come and let your light shine! Burning Bowl Service On December 29th, we will be having a Burning Bowl service. Come and participate in a powerful ceremony, where we will release old outworn thoughts and beliefs, and welcome in our good for the New Year. I feel very blessed to be a part of Unity of London. I love working with such a committed, caring joyful group of people. At this time of year, I would like to wish you all a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year. Greetings from Our Spiritual Advisor! Welcome to the February/March issue of INNER SPARK. In February, we celebrate Valentine's Day, a time to share our love with others. Let me take this time to send forth my love and blessings to all at Unity of London. It was one year ago that I walked into the Holistic Centre on Wortley Ave. for my first talk in London. I have felt nothing but love and welcome from this wonderful group and I am grateful for the acceptance I have received here. In February, Pat and I will continue our series on Deepak Chopra's book, THE SEVEN SPIRITUAL LAWS OF SUCCESS. We will cover "The Law of Intention", "The Law of Detachment" and "The Law of Purpose." We are looking at ways of putting these laws into practice in our lives. The last Sunday in February, I will be speaking on LOVING THYSELF AS THY NEIGHBOUR. February 16, I will be involved in an afternoon workshop at Hamilton Unity, which will be a weekend devoted to nurturing and loving ourselves. I invite anyone to join us who is interested in safe, loving, inner healing work. At the end of February, I will be going to Unity Village for a Consultant's Conference; then in March, I am running a retreat in Virginia Beach for Children's Church leaders. I will not be returning to London again until Palm Sunday, and I will be here for Easter Sunday. As we look upon the winter, the outer appearance is one of apparent dying; but if we could see what is happening beneath the earth, we would see preparation for new life, ready to burst forth in the spring. And, so it is with our lives, what appears to be winter, is a time of preparation, readiness for the new season of growth. Easter is a wonderful lesson of apparent death, followed by glorious rebirth. Jesus said "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." [John 10:10] The Christ within us is that which gives us life, vitality, and new growth. In this season of hope and rebirth, I wish you joyous blessings, and may the Easter Bunny be kind to you! FROM YOUR SPIRITUAL ADVISOR: Don't you love the spring? Blossoms, buds, lilacs ... this season is all too brief, a wonderful oasis, between the bitter cold of winter and the seering heat of summer. How I enjoy those first mild days, when the realization comes that this is really it, winter is behind us, and the snow has turned to spring rain. No more winter boots, no more heavy coats, scarves, mittens, winter hats. All around is evidence of new life springing forth, nature's renewal. Hibernating animals wake up, migrating animals return, birds are hatching, tadpoles swimming. As a child, I delighted in this season. It always meant a new pair of running shoes and a skipping rope! With the warmer weather, people come out of the woodwork, walking dogs, taking babies for a stroll, skateboarding, roller blading, bicycling. We can look at this season as a metaphor of our spiritual growth. God's nurturing healing love is as gentle as a soft spring breeze. Divine compassion and wisdom shine forth, as the ever increasing sunlight. We are ever expanding, eternally renewed as we allow Spirit to move through us and blossom. As we move into the season of rebirth, I see only blessings and growth for this ministry, and all the wonderful people who are a part of Unity of London. Let's celebrate spring's arrival and remember to "smell the flowers". It is with mixed feelings that I write this greeting to you. I have been accepted into the Ministerial Education Programme (M.E.P.) at Unity Village in Missouri. I leave in June to live at "The Village" for two years, and will then become an ordained Unity minister. Although I am excited and motivated to begin my studies, I feel sadness at saying good-bye to family and friends. I consider Unity of London to be my friends. I have had such positive, loving acceptance since I started speaking here 18 months ago, on a cold, snowy January morning. We were on Wortley Street then, and I will never forget how delightful my experiences have been each time. I consider my time at Unity of London to be a blessing for me, and I feel honoured to have shared with such an enlightened group. Verna Brighton is a committed, caring, Spirit-led woman, and I feel confident that under her leadership, you will soar to your goals. I will continue holding the vision for Unity of London during my absence, and look forward to seeing you when I return on breaks. And in the words of Lt. Tasha Yar on Star Trek "No good-byes, just good memories."
