Unity of London may have A Course
in Miracles® Study Program, sometime in the future. As
of Sept. 1997, it has not occurred, perhaps we need a miracle!? On
the other hand, many of our members mention that they either have heard
of the book, have read of it, or have studied it. Here is a link
with many interesting pages on the book: A
Course in Miracles®

The Circle of Atonement]
The following link will give you the lesson for today's
date, assuming that you began the lessons on January 1 and have done one
lesson per day [Read this page for variations on this theme]:
ACIM Workbook Commentary
Server.
The main purpose of this page is to give directions to the ACIM website, but before going there it should be mentioned to the viewer that we are now finding very disturbing things going on at the group responsible for getting the message out. Following an attempt to prevent people from looking at and copying an original version of the ACIM, (which is not the same as the published version) a series of letters from a legal firm and from a Bible scholar seem to sum up the problems and the possible solutions.
They note that there is now a Concordance of A Course in Miracles® There is also much to learn about the course and the other works surrounding it. Explore!! The book has been translated into many languages, with more on the way!
There is also a good description of the course, from the
viewpoint
of a fundamentalist and again another
at LeadershipU. Naturally, while the description is generally
good, eventually, however, the true feelings of the writer become known.
Here also is a link to a page which seems to be from Jesus
on the subject of his book.
"A Course in Miracles is a self-study spiritual thought system that teaches that the way to universal love and peace -- or remembering God -- is by undoing guilt through forgiving others. The Course thus focuses on the healing of relationships and making them holy. A Course in Miracles also emphasizes that it is but one version of the universal curriculum, of which there are "many thousands." Consequently, even though the language of the Course is that of traditional Christianity, it expresses a non-sectarian, non-denominational spirituality. A Course in Miracles therefore is a universal spiritual teaching, not a religion. " |
