President's Message
 with Neil Brimblecombe

Dear Friends,
I am writing this message on New Year's day. The day is absolutely gorgeous with the
sun shining brightly and the air smelling so fresh; to me this is a sign of a wonderful
exciting New Year in the making.

It is very exciting to be in our new home. I would like to take this opportunity to thank
all of the volunteers who have helped with the decorating, moving and suggestions for our
facility. I would also like to thank all the people who have so generously contributed to
purchasing chairs for our facility.

We have set up a decorating ministry to organize future decorating decisions for the
future; if you would be interested in being involved in this ministry please notify Susan
 Rybansky.

Rev. Jordan Ellis held the first service in our new home with a blessing and dedication
on Sunday, Dec. 5. On the same day members of the congregation returned their GOD
CANS so the Y.O.U. members could roll the coins. Half of the proceeds will be contributed
to a charitable organization, with the rest being used for Y.O.U. activities.
On Dec. 12 we held Teddy Bear Sunday. We donated all of the teddy bears to the
London Police Department's Family / Victim Services Unit. This was a very successful
service and it also represented Unity of London's first community outreach program. We
are planning to make this an annual event.

Pat Ball returned home for the holidays and led the Christmas Eve Service and the
Boxing Day Service. On Dec. 31, Henk Ketelaars facilitated the New Years Eve/ Burning
 Bowl ceremony.

We will be starting the men's meetings again in January. They will be held at 7 p.m.
at Unity on the second and fourth Friday of every month. We will also be returning to our
original format for the meetings. All men are welcome so please feel free to come out and
 participate.

As always, I and the rest of the Steering Committee invite your suggestions on how
Unity of London can best meet your needs and expectations.

   Remember that you are always welcome to attend any Steering Committee meeting;
they are generally held the second Monday of the month.

   Blessings,
   Neil
